Regulatory compliance of raw materials

Cognis has to comply with international chemical regulations like the national inventories and the safety data sheets (SDS). The national inventories are used to meet the requirements for exportation and importation of Cognis products and the raw materials contained therein.

Suppliers are requested to provide Cognis with the latest information about the registry status of their products, i.e. the following national inventories:

• USA – Listed in TSCA Inventory
• Canada – Components listed in DSL or NDSL
• Japan – Components listed in ENCS
• Australia – Listed in AICS
• Austria – Toxic or harmful ingredients included in the poison list
• EU - REACH compliance
• Switzerland – Registered product
• Korea – Listed in ECL / TCCL
• Philippines Republic – Listed in PICCS
• PR China – Listed in IECSC inventory of SEPA
• New Zealand – Inventory of Chemicals (NZIoC)
